Colin Spaull has been a stalwart of stage and screen for decades.
His performances in 'Morse', 'The Last Detective', 'The Inbetweeners', 'Doctors', 'Holby City', 'Eastenders', 'Casualty' and 'The Brittas Empire' were legendary and he's one of only a select few actors who can boast of appearing in both classic and new episodes of Doctor Who.
We're very pleased to announce that Colin will be joining out ranks as a Fantastic author in 2019 when we publish his autobiography.
Colin will be available for autographs, selfies and is always happy to chat with his fans.
Welcome to the party Colin!
Epic fantasy author behind the A Seared Sky trilogy, which was released at FantastiCon 2014 and 2015. Stuart also launched the beautiful hardback version of his short, dystopian science fiction thriller The Methuselah Strain in 2016. He is one of our most prolific authors and FantastiCon 2017 saw the exclusive launch of the second book in his Generation Mars series, Generation Mars: War Over Dust, which is available at the Fantastic Books Store.
Stuart will be at the 2018 event and is always open for chats and autographs!
Led by author, technology journalist and lifelong gamer Kate Russell (who sadly can't attend this year as her co-pilot Captain Jack requires her at home for a few weeks), the Hammers of Slough are much more than an in-game group of friends from around the world.
Hammers of Slough Sunday is a weekly online gaming party which has ran for years and features regular Hammers Nats Wright (an extremely talented photographer), Bubble (the mastermind behind the brand new Galaxy Crash game), Sarah Johnson (3D Printer extraordinaire) and the incredible Pleijpe (a Dutch madman of the highest order) to name but a handful of this large and growing group. Our CEO Dan is a proud member and was lucky enough to join the Hammers for a real life pilgrimage to where the Hammers sprang into existence, right outside the local Greggs bakery. Many a celebratory sausage roll was consumed.
Though their involvement is always mysterious and usually accompanied by a kazoo chorus, all we can tell you is there will be Hammers of Slough in attendance. They came last year and this year they will return, and much like sand people in greater numbers!Get well soon Captain Jack!
John Scotcher released The Boy In Winter's Grasp, the first in his historic fantasy series at FantastiCon 2015 and we will be talking to him about progress on its sequel and what he has planned for the future.
International award winning crime writer Penny Grubb launched her latest novel 'Syrup Trap City' at the 2017 event and will be joining us again, signing copies from her permanent post behind the Fantastic Books Store!
Sue Knight, author of 'Till They Dropped' and 'Waiting for Gordo', will be at the 2018 event.
Sue is a shy but prolific author and this will be possibly the only chance to meet her in person in 2018.
Copies of both of Sue's works will be available at the Fantastic Books Store!
